The program was jointly organized by the Party Central Committee's Commission for Communication, Education and Mass Mobilization, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Ha Noi People's Committee, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), and the World Health Organization (WHO).

The event also featured a "Walk for the Environment" around Hoan Kiem Lake and an exhibition of environmental posters created by Ha Noi schoolchildren, conveying messages of hope and collective responsibility for a greener, cleaner future.
"Ha Noi welcomes and supports the 'Clean Air Viet Nam 2025' initiative. We are ready to pioneer and coordinate its implementation, contributing to the national goal of improving air quality, protecting public health, and promoting sustainable development," said Nguyen Manh Quyen, Vice Chairman of the Ha Noi People's Committee.
Representatives of international organizations pledged continued support for Viet Nam in tackling air pollution challenges and advancing the country's net-zero emission commitment by 2050.
The "Clean Air for a Blue Sky" campaign concluded with a strong call for unity and shared responsibility — toward a bluer sky, cleaner air, and a healthier future for all.
In response to growing air quality concerns, Ha Noi has intensified measures to curb pollution and protect public health.
The city is expanding its green and public transport networks, promoting the transition to electric vehicles, and tightening controls on construction dust and industrial emissions. It has also begun integrating air-quality sensor data into the national monitoring system, enabling residents to access real-time information through digital platforms.
Alongside stricter enforcement, Ha Noi is raising community awareness and encouraging citizens to adopt sustainable lifestyles — part of its broader commitment to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050./.
