The city to open "European Music Festival 2015"

VGP - The European Music Festival 2015 will take place from November 18- 29 in Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City to mark the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the EU and Viet Nam.

The event jointly organized by the European Cultural Institutes, Embassies of European Union (EU) Member States and Viet Nam Performing Arts Center of the Department of Performing Arts Management (under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism).
Through the 14th organization, the "European Music Festival 2015" will introduce to Vietnamese audiences with concerts featuring famous artists from eight EU member countries: Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Poland and Sweden and Vietnamese young band Hac San.

Especially, it will include performances of Polish violin virtuoso Proniewicz Voytek and guitar duet Ferenc Snetberger from Hungrary.
Speaking at the press conference, Ambassador and Head of the EU Delegation to Viet Nam Bruno Angelet said the festival would contribute to strengthening the diplomatic ties between the EU and Viet Nam and promoting Viet Nam-EU understanding.
Cultural exchange and community diplomacy is an important part of efforts to boost connectivity between EU and Vietnamese people in all fields, he added.
The European Music Festival 2015 will be kicked off in both Ha Noi and HCM City on November 18.
