VGP – The Ha Noi municipal People’s Committee has given the green light for restaurants and barbershops to resume operation from 0:00 AM of June 22. However, precautionary measures are still on place, including no more than 50% of the total seats to be offered, no more than 20 people to be served, table shields to be installed for safe dining, and closing deadline before 9:00 PM.
Bars and beer pubs are only allowed for takeaway.
The city will resume non-essential services depending on the pandemic situation.
Earlier, the city had imposed curbs in non-essential services since April 29 and the barbershops since May 25.
So far, Ha Noi has confirmed 465 locally-transmitted cases, including those detected in the two big national hospitals. As the city has gone several days without local infections, the local authorities decided to loosen some restrictions.
The local authorities also underlined the necessity to stay vigilant against COVID-19, regularly update the list of workers’ travel history, and assess risk levels at industrial parks and zones.
The Health Department is responsible for instructing medical clinics and hospitals to seriously comply with disease prevention protocols and keep a close watch on disease transmission in other cities and provinces.
The Police force is in charge of working with the Department of Transport and grass-root People’s Committees to inspect transport vehicles especially those from HCMC, Binh Duong, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, and Da Nang City with hot disease clusters in Viet Nam.
The Noi Bai International Airport bears the responsibility for investigating returnees from HCMC to Ha Noi for precaution purposes.
Especially, people are requested to make online health declaration within 24 hours after coming back the city.
People are strongly recommended to arrive in the aforesaid localities if really necessary and seriously comply with the 5K message and disease preventive measures in accordance with the Ministry of Health./.
