Promoting culture of South Korea in Viet Nam
VGP - The first cultural music festival within the framework of the exhibition "K Expo Viet Nam 2022" took place in Ha Noi capital, opening the cultural exchange event between South Korea and Viet Nam.
South Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism hosted the event, with the participation of four other ministries, namely the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Natural Resources, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry and Food Industry, Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, and the Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises and Ventures.
This is the first time that five South Korea's ministries have co-organized such a large-scale exhibition abroad.
This K-Expo exhibition aimed to expand overseas sales channels for South Korea's small and medium enterprises, promote the country's culture, and take advantage of the influence of the Hallyu wave to expand the market into Southeast Asian countries.
The exhibition expanded opportunities for businesses and consumers to participate in various programs and was divided into two parts.
Part one took place from October 15-18 at Ha Noi National Convention Center and JW Marriott Hotel, with main exhibition items, including food, agricultural and aquatic products, and specific national brands of small and medium enterprises.
Part two, an exhibition on consumer goods and services, will be held from October 27-28, at the Ha Noi International Exhibition and Convention Center, an exhibition on consumer goods and services.
The exhibition participated in about 250 domestic enterprises and 605 enterprises from Viet Nam, Indonesia, and Thailand, with events such as export consultation, discussions with South Korea's companies investing in Viet Nam, and networking seminars.
Additionally, this event helped to promote South Korea's plan to race for the right to host the Busan 2030 World Expo and the shopping festival "Korea Sale FESTA 2022".
On the sidelines of the event, there were also many exhibition programs, content experiences applying virtual reality technology, promotional events, product promotions, culinary experiences, and dance competitions./.
