The exam comprised nearly 4,000 exam rooms across 184 venues while 14,500 officials, teachers, and employees were mobilized to supervise the exams.

Students who are Covid-19 patients and made close contact with coronavirus patients (F0 and F1) in Ha Noi will be admitted to public schools that they applied for without taking the entrance exams so as to ensure safety amid the pandemic.

Prior to the exams, the department has coordinated with local authorities to organize exam rehearsals before June 8.

Earlier, at a meeting with the Standing Committee of the municipal Party Committee on June 3, Ha Noi Party chief Dinh Tien Dung requested that, at all costs, safety must be ensured for all students during the exam.

Dung said that the examination is taking place in an unprecedented context due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, so the organizers have to figure out different scenarios, even the most extreme ones.

Dung requested the immediate reactivation of the 15 working groups to direct and inspect the Covid-19 pandemic prevention during the exam.

The city's Party committee and local officials, especially leaders, must be involved, maintaining a sense of responsibility to successfully conduct the exam in accordance with the motto “All for the future of our children”, Dung stressed./.
