Mid Autumn Festival scheduled on September 2
VGP – The Mid-Autumn Festival in Ha Noi Old Quarters will begin at 7:30 pm on September 2 at Dong Xuan Market.

This year's Mid Autumn Festival is scheduled for September 2-15, at Hang Ma Street, Dong Xuan Market, walking streets from Hang Dao – Dong Xuan - Hang Giay.
The opening ceremony will include stalls displaying moon cakes, traditional toys, as well as flower decoration.
A night festival of traditional folk games will be organized at Dong Xuan Market on September 9. Another festival of lion dancing will be held on September 10.
The Mid Autumn Festival will consist of a mid autumn banquet contest, lantern parades, traditional folk games, cultural art and circus performances.
To Vietnamese people, the full moon is a symbol of happiness. On Mid-Autumn Day, families reunite, prepare feasts and moon cakes to welcome the moon, enjoy watching lion dances, and children run around playing games./.
