Isolation and testing regulations for travellers to HN

VGP – The Ha Noi Department of Health has issued guidance of isolation and testing for travellers to Ha Noi.

Accordingly, travellers to Ha Noi are not required to present tests for SARS-CoV-2. Those who come from areas categorized as Level 4 - very high-risk or lockdown areas are subjected to COVID-19 tests.

Specifically, travellers from provinces and cities (at Level 4 labeled red) or lockdown areas must comply with the following regulations:

Fully vaccinated travellers or recovered people within six months are requested to have their health monitored at homes/places of residence within seven days and take PCR test one time at the first date of arrival. 

Partially vaccinated travellers are requested to self-isolate at homes/places of residence within seven days, have their health monitored in the next seven days, comply with 5K protocols, and take PCR tests twice on the first and seventh dates of arrival.

Unvaccinated travellers are requested to self-isolate at homes/places of residence within 14 days since the date of arrival, have their health monitored in the next 14 days, and take PCR tests three times on the first, seventh, and 14th days of arrival. 

These people have to make health declaration and inform any signs of infections including cough, fever, sore throat, and loss or decreased sense of smell.

Travellers from provinces and cities in Level 3 labeled orange have to comply with the following regulations:

Fully vaccinated travellers or recovered people within six months are requested to have their health monitored at homes/places of residence within seven days.

Partially vaccinated or unvaccinated travellers are asked to have their health monitored at homes/places of residence within 14 days and comply with 5K protocol. 

Travellers from cities and provinces in Level 2 labeled yellow have to comply with the following instructions:

Fully vaccinated people or recovered ones within six months are exempted from isolation and testing. 

Partially vaccinated or unvaccinated people must have their health monitored within 14 days of arrival, comply with health registration, and 5K message. 

Travellers who come from provinces and cities in Level 1 labeled green are asked to comply with the following instructions.

Fully vaccinated people or recovered people within six months are exempted from isolation and testing.

Partially vaccinated or unvaccinated people are requested to have their health monitored seven days, comply with health registration, and 5K protocol. 

The Ha Noi Health Department reported that as of late October 26, 5,996 travellers from the South arrived in Ha Noi. 

Specifically, 27 out of 42 positive cases are fully vaccinated. 

3,309 people travelled by air, 820 by train, 1,123 by cars or coaches, and 744 others by personnel vehicles (cars and motorbikes). 

Of the 42 positive cases, 30 came from HCMC, six from Dong Nai province, three from Binh Duong province, two from Quang Ngai, and one from Tay Ninh province./.
