HN targets to lead e-commerce rankings
VGP – The Ministry of Industry and Trade would support Ha Noi to develop e-commerce as well as to lead in the field nationwide.

Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh made the point on August 14 while attending a meeting with Secretary of the Ha Noi Party Committee Vuong Dinh Hue on August 13.
The meeting was the sixth of this kind between the city Party leader with eight central ministries on Ha Noi’s fast and sustainable growth in the coming time.
According to Mr. Hue, the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) increased by 3.39% in the first half, higher than the national average rate due to vigorous impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
He proposed the MoIT continue to cooperate with Ha Noi to strengthen investigations of multi-level marketing businesses and illegal trading.
In the coming time, the MoIT will work with Ha Noi to build mechanisms and policies in favor of business development; administrative reforms, logistics system, energy infrastructure, and transport.
Secretary Hue proposed the MoIT cooperate with the local authorities to build an industrial development strategy which will focus on modern industries and strive for higher proportion of industrial, commercial, and construction sector (about 23%) in the GRDP.
The MoIT will support the city to effectively implement the project on logistics management and developments by 2025 and the project on wholesale markets development./.
