HN destined for Ao Dai Festival in October
VGP - Ao Dai Festival will take place at the Thang Long-Ha Noi Preservation Centre from October 14 to 16, targeting to preserve and promote Viet Nam’s traditional values and the beauty and grace of the ao dai (traditional Vietnamese costume for women).

The event also aims to introduce the cultural heritage of the country’s 1,000-year-old capital to both domestic visitors and international friends via its platform and various activities.
Fashion and tourism enterprises will get a chance to exchange experiences and extend their collaboration with both domestic and foreign counterparts.
Meanwhile, visitors can enjoy Ha Noi’s special cuisines and have their own ao dai tailored at the event.
Under the motto Tinh Hoa Ao Dai Vietnam (The Quintessence of Vietnam’s Ao Dai), the festival will attract the participation of many fashion designers and artists as well as Ha Noi lovers.
Aspace will be specifically dedicated to displaying images and documents about the history of ao dai. Collections of unique ao dai of the past and present, in addition to the materials and ancient looms to tailor ao dai will also be on display
The three-day event will consist of decorations of lights made of conical hats, set up both inside and outside the festival venue, creating a lively and intimate atmosphere for the visitors./.
