Ha Noi supports over 515,500 COVID-19 affected people
VGP – The entire political system of Ha Noi has been activated since April 27, with significant efforts made across all fronts to both combat COVID-19 and fulfill other tasks in the city, according to Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Chu Ngoc Anh.

Speaking at a virtual meeting of the committee on May 27, Anh said Ha Noi has experienced a tough month due to the COVID-19 resurgence, highlighting the city’s close directions in the pandemic fight with the issuance of nine official telegrams, two directives and many documents to regulate local business and daily activities and ensure the safety of people’s lives and health.
He expressed his thanks to local citizens for having strictly observed the city’s Official Telegram 11 on the temporary closure of some services from 12pm on May 25, while praising the great attempts by all-level agencies, sectors, units and People’s Committees in tracing contacts and dealing with the disease.
Anh also appreciated the effective operations of residential groups and teams serving the election work, and paid tribute to news agencies, the people and the business community for their support and joint hands with the city in the COVID-19 combat.
“With the engagement of the whole political system, Ha Noi will definitely claim the overall victory in the fight against the pandemic,” he affirmed./.
