Ha Noi combines economic development, environmental protection, proactive int’l integration
VGP – The Ha Noi People’s Committee has issued Plan No. 128/KH-UBND on the city’s international integration in the 2021-2025 period, which introduces many major task groups to facilitate proactive international economic integration.

Specifically, Ha Noi will continue to restructure the agricultural sector and boost agricultural development towards commodity production, concentrated specialized farming, high value, sustainability and food safety and hygiene, in association with improving the quality of new rural development, modernizing rural areas, protecting the environment, and strengthening climate change adaptation.
Developing the “smoke-free industry”
Under the plan, the capital will also strive to develop tourism into a spearhead economic sector, with focus on promoting sustainable tourism and restructuring the tourism sector in terms of infrastructure, environment, businesses and products, in order to properly tap into tangible and intangible values.
In addition, the city will pay heed to designing and effectively exploiting new, creative tourism products imbued with its identity, thereby affirming high competitiveness and brand of Ha Noi tourism. Furthermore, the capital will work to promote its role as the largest tourism coordination center in the northern region, as well as its close links with tourism product chains in the region, the country and the world.
Particularly, local tourism development will be combined with preserving and promoting cultural and historical values of the capital and the nation, protecting the nature and the environment, and ensuring local defence-security and social order-safety in a sustainable way.
On the other hand, Ha Noi will continue to ensure the development of a healthy real estate market, as well as reviewing and implementing solutions to remove difficulties and boost the development of the real estate market, restructuring the real estate market, and diversifying real estate products, especially housing, to meet the market demand.
