Ha Noi welcomes more than 904,000 visitors during National Day
VGP - During the five-day National Day holiday, from August 29 to September 2, 2026, Ha Noi received 904,120 visitors, representing an increase of 24.4 percent compared with the same period in 2024.

Of the figure, international tourism posted particularly strong growth, with 94,120 international visitors, including 66,360 staying overnight, up 82.4 percent. Domestic arrivals were estimated at 810,000, an increase of 20 percent.
Total tourism revenue was estimated at more than VND 3 trillion, a year-on-year increase of 31.11 percent.
One of the most meaningful highlights of the National Day celebrations was the policy of offering free admission to Vietnamese visitors at ticketed historical and cultural sites across the city on September 2.
The people-centered initiative provided a strong boost to visitor numbers at the capital's historical and revolutionary heritage sites. By 7 p.m. on September 1, museums and heritage sites managed by the Ha Noi's Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism had already welcomed 112,112 visitors./.
