Following directives from Party and State leaders to accelerate these projects and support Ha Noi's GDP growth target of over 8 percent, Chairman Thanh instructed relevant agencies to review project implementation tasks, prepare a detailed execution plan, and submit it to the People's Committee for approval by March 20.
The Department of Construction was tasked with advising the People's Committee on establishing an inter-agency working group to assess the investment projects. This group, comprising leaders from relevant departments, agencies, and district-level People's Committees, expedited the evaluation process and reported their findings to the People's Committee by March 18.
The Ha Noi Transport Infrastructure Investment and Construction Project Management Board must coordinate with district-level People's Committees to finalize project documents for submission and approval by March 20. It is also responsible for completing agreements and feasibility study reports for review by the Department of Construction.
The Department of Finance will oversee the evaluation of bidding documents submitted by the Ha Noi Transport Infrastructure Investment and Construction Project Management Board and ensure the approval of a comprehensive contractor selection plan by March 28.
The Department of Agriculture and Environment must complete the evaluation of environmental impact reports in parallel with the feasibility study process by March 27.
The Department of Planning and Architecture will collaborate with Dong Anh District to identify specific land plots for resettlement as directed by the People's Committee.
The districts of Tay Ho, Long Bien, Dong Anh are urged to expedite land acquisition, compensation, and site clearance procedures to ensure timely project groundbreaking and construction.
The Tu Lien Bridge project, approved by the Prime Minister, will be constructed between Nhat Tan Bridge and Long Bien Bridge, connecting Yen Phu and Tu Lien Wards (Tay Ho District) with Dong Anh District. The project includes a 5.5 km main bridge and approach roads, as well as a 6 km connecting road in Dong Anh District.
Under Ha Noi's transportation plan, as of 2024, 18 major bridges cross the Red River, enhancing connectivity and economic development. Additionally, three new bridges—Tu Lien, Tran Hung Dao, and Ngoc Hoi—are scheduled for construction between 2025 and 2030./.
