Ha Noi may welcome about 14 million tourists in H1
VGP - The number of tourists to Ha Noi in the first six months of this year is expected to reach 14.05 million, a year-on-year increase of 13.7 percent, according to the municipal Department of Tourism.

Of the figure, the number of international arrivals is forecast to hit 3.14 million, a surge of 52.6 percent year on year while domestic tourists are estimated at 10.3 million, up 6 percent.
Total revenue from tourism in the period is approximated at nearly VND 55.4 trillion (US$2.2 billion), a year-on-year expansion of 22.8 percent.
Ha Noi has 4,760 accommodation establishments with a total of 71,246 rooms; of which 607 hotels and apartment complexes have been rated from 1-5 stars, with 26,641 rooms.
In order to attract more tourists, the city has introduced several tourism products, such as the "South Thang Long Heritage Road – Ha Noi" tourism route, the Mien village community tourism destination in Ba Vi district, and the Ha Noi - Ha Nam - Ninh Binh spiritual cultural tourism route, among others.
Ha Noi has affirmed its position as a major tourism hub of the country while popularizing its image and tourism brand both in the region and the world.
International organizations, experts, and tourism service providers have continued to nominate and honor Ha Noi at prestigious, regional and international awards such as Asia's Leading City Break Destination 2024 and Asia's Leading City Destination 2024.
The world's leading online travel platform Tripadvisor has honored Ha Noi in the category of the Best Food Destination in the World 2024./.
