This is one element mentioned regarding strategic cooperation agreement on the application of information technology and communications between FPT and the Ha Noi municipal People’s Committee on June 25 within the framework of the “Ha Noi 2017 - Investment and Development Cooperation” conference.

Thanks to the map, people are also able to provide feedback on the real-time traffic situation through chatbot, an automated interaction tool.

FPT will deploy smart traffic systems for the capital through leasing information technology services.

It will also be responsible for all aspects of the system’s investment, operations, and maintenance, with total estimated investment of VND1.7 trillion ($74.77 million).

The Ha Noi Transportation System was proposed by FPT to meet the ten main functions required by Announcement No.484 dated May 29.

These include traffic information systems for citizens and State management agencies; business management systems; road traffic infrastructure management systems; traffic control systems with traffic lights; a system monitoring and dealing with violations; intelligent security systems; traffic management and monitoring systems; a system regulating and restricting transport in certain urban areas ; smart traffic management software systems; and a security and data security system.

Moreover, FPT expects to invest VND500 billion ($21.99 million) to lay underground telecommunications cables and install underground technical infrastructure.

It will also cooperate with the Ha Noi Department of Information and Communications and the Ha Noi Department of Planning and Investment to develop training programs, hold training courses to improve information technology knowledge among staff in Ha Noi, and train human resources at small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)./.
