City leader visits families under preferential treatment policy in Thach That District
On July 23, the city’s delegation led by Chairwoman of the municipal People’s Council Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc visited families under preferential treatment policy in Thach That District in the celebration of upcoming Vietnamese Remembrance Day (July 27).

Chairwoman of the municipal People’s Council Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc visits Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Do, July 23.
The delegation visited family of Phi Manh Hien, a war invalid in Huong Ngai Commune (Thach That District). Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc expressed her deep gratitude and highly appreciated his strong will. In spite of serious injury in the war, he still overcomes difficulties, motivate the youth to work hard and made his own contribution to improving the family's living conditions. She wished Hien good health and hoped that he will continue effort as well as moral support for the next generations.
On the same day, Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc visited Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Do in Van Loi hamlet (Binh Yen Commune), and wished her good health as well as long live.
The Chairwoman also requested local Party units and authorities to continue the activities to pay respect to war invalids and martyrs, and improve living conditions of the families under preferential treatment policy in the area.
