In a document sent to relevant agencies, Chairman Anh requested all levels, sectors, People’s Committees of districts and towns to stay vigilant to and conduct precautionary measures to prevent another wave of coronavirus outbreak.

People are urged to wear face masks in public vehicles and restrict mass gathering and festival organization.

Chairman Anh noticed the importance of properly managing centralized quarantine camps, people on arrival at pay-to-stay quarantine sites, quarantine at place of residences, and crew quarantine sites.

Grass-root People’s Committees are responsible for inspecting quarantine regulations to avoid community disease transmission; conducting a 14-day mandatory quarantine for people on entry; and a 14-day medical supervision after quarantine.

The Ha Noi Police is in charge of working with relevant agencies to closely monitor entrants; early verify and discover illegal immigration cases.

The People’s Committee tasked the Department of Health to regularly inspect disease prevention work at hospitals and medical clinics.

Ha Noi has gone more than four months with zero cases of Covid-19 in the community. However, according to experts, the risk of a resurgence of the Covid-19 pandemic is latent, and cold and dry winter conditions favor the transmission of the virus, so staying vigilant is a must.

Local residents are still recommended to regularly wash hands with soap or use hand sanitizers, clean surfaces and frequently touched objects (door knobs, mobile phones, tablets, tables, and chairs)./.
