VGP – The Ha Noi Municipal People’s Committee has drawn a COVID-19 treatment plan for the scenario of having 40,000 infections.

The number of hospital beds will then be increased to 4,000 and 8,000 for the scenarios of 20,000 and 40,000 infection cases, respectively, according to the plan.

At present, six-teen hospitals in the city have been designated for COVID-19 treatment, namely: Ha Noi Oncology Hospital, Dong Anh General Hospital, Hoe Nhai General Hospital, Ha Noi Hospital of Traditional Medical, Ha Dong Hospital of Traditional Medical, Ha Noi Rehabilitation Hospital, Viet Nam-Cuba Friendship hospital, Ha Noi Lung Hospital, Thuong Tin district General Hospital, Phuc Tho district General Hospital, Thanh Tri district General Hospital, Ha Noi Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, Gia Lam district General Hospital, Bac Thang Long Hospital, and Ha Noi Heart Hospital.

A 500-bed field hospital is under construction in Yen So ward, Hoang Mai district, expected to come into operation in mid-August.
