Wales, Ha Noi forge cooperation in education

At the reception, Kirsty Williams said that Wales is willing to share its high-quality English training programme with Ha Noi and, it wants to learn Ha Noi’s experience to improve the capacity of Welsh students in natural sciences.

Sharing some education ideas in Wales, Kirsty Williams hopes that student exchanges between Viet Nam in general and Ha Noi in particular with Wales will increase in both quantity and quality in the time ahead.

 

In turn, Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung said Ha Noi always creates favourable conditions for foreign students in general and those from Wales in particular to study and work in the city

He noted that Ha Noi has nearly 2,700 schools at all levels with over 1.8 million students. The education system has many secondary and high schools, training numerous senior officials for the city, and students in the city also outnumber those from other localities representing Viet Nam in international competitions.

In the coming time, Ha Noi aims to train high-quality human resources, with creativity and participation in the start-up trend of Ha Noi and the whole country, Chung noted.

Thus, Ha Noi wants to cooperate with Wales to comprehensively develop its education system, he underlined.
