VN-Korea Film Festival 2018 to be held

he Embassy of the Republic of Korea (RoK) in Viet Nam in collaboration with the RoK Cultural Center and the Korean Film Commission will host the event, marking the 26th anniversary of Viet Nam - the Republic of Korea diplomatic relations. 

This year’s film festival will introduce Hanoian movie lovers many  blockbusters with attractive themes and excellent actors. They include The Great Battle, Unbowed, The Accidental Detective 2: In Action, Along with the Gods: The Last 49 days and The Tailor. Additionally, the film festival will also screen famous cartoon movies of RoKfor children, including Tayo bus, Lavar, Jadoo.

In addition, young audiences will get a chance to enjoy popular Korean animated movies such as Cloud Bread, Tayo bus, Lavar and Jadoo.

In particular, Ahn Sung Ki, the man called "national actor" of RoK will participate in the opening ceremony of the VietNam - RoK Film Festival 2018, and have exchanges with Vietnamese audiences. He is well known for not only his acting skills, but also for his active role as the UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador in Republic of Korea since 1991. 

This big cultural program will close up the exciting activities of the Center in 2018, giving viewers who love cinema in Viet Nam and Korea relaxing moments, contributing to enhance understanding and cultural exchange between the two countries, according to the Korean Cultural Center in Viet Nam.
