VN International Travel Mart 2020 opens in Ha Noi

Hosted by the Viet Nam Tourism Association, the event is one of a range of solutions to help the country’s tourism sector overcome the difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

It attracted more than 300 local enterprises from 47 cities and provinces across Viet Nam, and representative offices of the Republic of Korea, Japan, Thailand, Taiwan (China), Colombia, and Peru. 

It offers a chance for travel agencies and localities to promote their tourism products and services as well as seek business partnerships.

Management and promotion agencies and enterprises will discuss issues relating to the prospects for Viet Nam’s tourism sector in the future.

Cao Thi Ngoc Lan, Vice President of the Vietnam Tourism Association, which is the organizer of the event, said, “Via the Viet Nam International Travel Mart 2020 we hope that Vietnamese travel agencies will gradually overcome challenges, and reform their management and business to catch up with new development trends. This will benefit the domestic tourism market as the COVID-19 pandemic is being contained.”

The 4-day expo includes a seminar on tourist destinations, products, and services, promotional programs, and talks on tourism development trends and digital transformation to boost Vietnamese tourism. 

The event will run until November 29./.
