VN Goods Week 2020 held in Ha Noi

The event was held by the Ha Noi Department of Industry and Trade and the Viet Nam Trade Promotion Centre for Agriculture.

The fairs attracted nearly 150 pavilions showcasing various types of consumer goods, industrial products, products from craft villages, agricultural goods, seafood, organic food and products under the ‘One Commune, One Product’ program.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Director of the Ha Noi Department of Industry and Trade Tran Thi Phuong Lan emphasized that the fair provides an opportunity for local businesses  to strongly promote and introduce branded product, organize trade promotion activities, as well as offer Vietnamese goods to  people and tourists in Ha Noi. 

These are specific activities and practical solutions to remove difficulties as well as create conditions for Vietnamese enterprises to promote their business activities, contributing to growth and ensuring social security in the city, Lan said.

Ha Noi has held various events to ease difficulties for enterprises and foster economic growth following the COVID-19 pandemic, including trade fairs bringing local specialties to Ha Noi, a concentrated promotion program, and a trade fair of Vietnamese goods, among others.

The event is among a number of programs and plans to remove difficulties for businesses that the Ha Noi People's Committee has mapped out in order to promote economic growth of the capital city.
