VITM Ha Noi 2020 held
VGP - This year’s Viet N am Int ernational Travel Mart (VITM Ha N oi) with the theme of “Viet N am Tourism - changing for development” is taking place at F riendship Cultural Palace in Ha N oi.
The event attracted the participation of 400 booths of businesses from 54 localities nationwide, in addition to 10 other countries and territories globally.
The schedule for the event was released following the containment of the coronavirus outbreak in Viet Nam, according to the Viet Nam Tourism Association.
No new cases of community transmission have been registered in the country over the past two weeks, said the association, citing an updated report from the Ministry of Health.
Therefore, the Government has eased regulations and is allowing events to be held in public areas, providing that COVID-19 prevention and control measures are implemented.
Moreover, participants will be able to take part in a broad array of outstanding activities and forums at the fair, including business to business (B2B), introductions of tourism products, tourism destinations, along with conferences on connecting tourism products between localities, domestic, and foreign businesses.
A number of art performances and ceremonies to honour both individuals and enterprises will also be held during the event.
The fair is anticipated to provide plenty of opportunities for local businesses to find solutions to overcome the consequences caused by the novel coronavirus pandemic.
Furthermore, the occasion will help enterprises promote their brands, boost business relations, and the development of the inbound and outbound markets.
