Viet Nam Airlines increases number of Ha Noi-Dien Bien flights

VGP - Viet Nam Airlines (VNA) has announced an increase of 100 flights between Ha Noi and the northern Dien Bien Province on the occasion of the 60t anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu historical victory (May 7, 1954 - 2014).

Accordingly, There will be four daily flights from May 5 to 11 and three daily flights from May 12 to 18.
The decision has been taken to meet the expected rise in the number of domestic and foreign visitors during the 60th anniversary of the Dien Bien victory, which falls on May 7.
Earlier, VNA launched a promotional programme which allows Vietnamese veterans who fought in the famous Dien Bien Phu Campaign to avail of discounted flights between Ha Noi and Dien Bien from April 1 to December 31.
VNA sponsors a lot of activities nationwide, such as Hung Kings’ festival in Phu Tho Province, the Fansipan conquering 2014 tournament in Lao Cai province and Dien Bien culture week.
