VGP - Students in many localities nationwide, including Hanoi, are back to school on May 4 morning after a three-month closure due to COVID-19 pandemic.

VGP – According to its Decision No. 1738, the Ha Noi People’s Committee has approved a plan to allocate VND650 billion (US$27.68 million) from the city budget to make loans to the poor and policy beneficiaries, thus helping them overcome losses due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

VGP – The local authorities of Ha Noi have decided to relax restrictions and resume socio-economic activities while ensuring precautious measures to reduce the risk of exposure to the novel coronavirus. 

VGP – Ha Noi has been actively implementing solutions to restore production with the aim of attaining a growth rate which is 1.3 times higher than the country’s average, after a long time of implementing social distancing to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.

VGP – The local authorities will build a specific framework on operational hours for non-essential business shops in a bid to prevent Covid-19 outbreak. 

VGP – In the first quarter of 2020, Ha Noi reported 6,350 newly established businesses with a total capital of VND103 trillion (US$4.41 billion), an increase of 1% in the number of enterprises and up 98% regarding registered capital compared to the same period last year.

VGP – Since the beginning of the year, Ha Noi’s agricultural sector has stepped up the management of food hygiene and safety, with attention paid to strengthening the inspection, evaluation, classification, construction and development of safe farm produce chains, aiming to control the quality of agricultural products provided for the market.

VGP – Classes of secondary and high schools, colleges and universities will be reopened on May 5. 

VGP - The municipal Party Committee of Ha Noi has recently agreed a plan to build two new metro lines including Line No. 3 from Ha Noi Railway Station to Hoang Mai district and Line No.5 from Van Cao to Hoa Lac.
