Three MoU with Japanese enterprises inked in Tokyo

VGP – The Viet Nam Investment Promotion Conference in Tokyo, Japan, witnessed the signing ceremonies of three memorandums of understanding with a total investment of about US$ 1 billion on October 10.

Chairman of the Ha Noi municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung inked these documents. 

Specifically, in the first MoU, the local authorities pledged to create the most favorable conditions for AEON Mall Co., Ltd to build a commercial center at Hoang Mai district and another at Bac Tu Liem district with an investment of around US$ 500 million. 

The local authorities of Ha Noi also sealed a MoU on transfering  technoloy relating to infrastructure – road maintenance.

In the last MoU, Meiko Electronics in Ha Noi will expand investment by pouring in additional US$ 200 million to expand its production and produce electronic circuit boards and spare parts. 

The local authorities promised to provide information and introduce suitable destination for investors to develop new projects and high-tech agriculture with a total investment scale from US$ 100-300 million./.
