Three auxiliary industry expos open

VGP – Over 200 local brands from 20 countries and territories are taking part in three auxiliary industry exhibitions in Ha Noi .

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Quoc Khanh emphasised that the Vietnamese Government is proactively assisting firms operating in the support industries to apply modern quality management systems and improve the quality and reliability of their products, thus enabling them to join the global production and supply chains.

The exhibitions are expected to provide Vietnamese firms with a good opportunity to increase the ratio of local content in electrical products and support industries, as well as exchange experience with partners from Japan and around the world, he noted.

The three expos are the seventh Viet Nam-Japan Support Industry Exhibition, an expo on equipment, technology and support industry for the electronic industry and an expo on Vietnamese support industry products.

The event have attracted the participation of over 200 brands from 20 countries and territories, including Japan, China, Singapore and Thailand, the Republic of Korea,  and others.

Via the three-day event, enterprises of Ha Noi and other northern provinces and cities could seek business opportunities with each other as well as with Japanese and ASEAN players.
