The third Ha Noi International Film Festival

VGP - The third Ha Noi International Film Festival (HANIFF), ‘Cinema – Integration and Sustainable Development’ will be organized from November 23 to 27, attracting 327 films from 32 countries and territories, according to the Viet Nam Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s Department of Cinema.

The event aims to promote cultural exchange and film industry in Asia-Pacific. So far, the organizing board has received 327 films from 32 countries and territories, such as Viet Nam, Thailand, Singapore, US, and France, UK.

The event honour outstanding films of high artistic value and encourage new talents of Vietnamese cinema.

The festival will also include competitions, screenings, a Vietnamese film programme, a HANIFF campus, a film project market, exhibitions and seminars.

Head of Cinema Department of Viet Nam under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ms Ngo Phuong Lan  said HANIFF 2014 offers some new features, such as The Best Feature Film award for movies and documentary films lasting at least 75 minutes, and a film project market for participants to seek investment and cooperation.
