Ten projects allow foreign ownership


VGP – The Ha Noi Department of Construction has announced a list of ten housing projects which permit foreign ownership.

The first project is Keangnam Hanoi Landmark Tower Project (Me Tri Ward, Nam Tu Liem District) invested by Keangnam Group ( the RoK).

In this list, there are five projects in Ha Dong district, including: High-rise buildings in the plot of code CT6 (blocks A and B) – Duong Noi new urban area (zone A), Duong ward The Cabinet is invested by Nam Cuong Ha Noi Joint Stock Company.

Mixed building of Ha Noi Radio and Television Station at the plot of land No. 14, Lot VIII, Administrative Center of Ha Dong District (Ha Cau Ward) made by Phu Thinh Investment Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company investor.

Construction project of Area C – Kien Hung New Urban Area (Kien Hung Ward) by the joint venture of Kien Hung Urban Development Investment Joint Stock Company, Hop Phu Investment and Development Joint Stock Company and Joint Stock Company Tin Phu Development Investment as the investor.

High-rise apartment building of Le Trong Tan New Urban Area – Park City (La Khe Ward) is invested by Vietnam International Urban Development Joint Stock Company.

The project of expanded Van Khe new urban area (La Khe ward) is invested by Song Da – Thang Long Joint Stock Company.

Specifically, HH2-1A Building of HH2-1 apartment building belongs to Golden Palace A amusement park, school and housing complex, commercial and service complex (Me Tri Ward, Phu Do Ward, Nam District Tu Liem) is invested by Mai Linh Investment Joint Stock Company.

The project of Dolphin Plaza apartment building and office building (My Dinh 2 ward, Nam Tu Liem district) is invested by TID Joint Stock Company.

High-rise housing project, office, tourist and commercial apartment Eco Park View (A-unit block of apartments) in a plot of land, symbol D14-Cau Giay new urban area (lane 19 street Duy Tan) is located in Dich Vong Hau Ward (Cau Giay District) and My Dinh 2 Ward (Nam Tu Liem District) due to the joint venture of Medinsco Medical Equipment Joint Stock Company and Construction and Development Joint Stock Company. Infrastructure and Ecoland Joint Stock Company as the investor.

Earlier, in November 2019, the Ha Noi Department of Construction also announced 16 housing projects in the city that foreigners were allowed to buy. In which, there are 4 projects in Ha Dong district, 3 projects in Long Bien district, 2 projects in Thanh Xuan district, 2 projects in Cau Giay district and 5 projects located in districts: Bac Tu Liem, Nam Tu Liem, Hoan Kiem, Ba Dinh, Gia Lam.

Under the 2014 Housing Law, foreign individuals who are permitted to enter Viet Nam with entry visas will be entitled to buy and own residential houses, as well as use, sell, mortgage, or inherit the residential houses.

However, a foreigner is limited to ownership of up to 30% of the total number of units in an apartment building and up to 250 residential houses in a ward administrative unit. The period of house ownership is 50 years, with the possibility of an extension.

Foreign individuals who are married to a Vietnamese person are entitled to long term home ownership./.
