Schools to start reopening from May 4

Chairman of the Ha Noi municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung asked the Department of Education and Training to make preparation for school reopening and ensure disease precautions. 

In the short term, the local authorities passed the timetable for pupils of secondary and high schools and students to come back to school on May 4. 

Back-to-school day of primary pupils and kindergarten kids will be decided next Wednesday. 

Earlier, the Ha Noi Department of Education and Training composed scenarios to welcome learners to be back to school with four stages.

Closing schools is one of tough measures that Viet Nam has taken to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic. All kindergarteners and school students in Ha Noi have stayed home since late January in a bid to prevent coronavirus transmission./.
