Russian dance ensemble to perform in Viet Nam

VGP - Russia’s world-renowned Beryozka ( Little Birch) Folklore Dance Ensemble will perform in Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City from October 4 to 10.

The event is co-organized by the Viet Nam Performing Arts Centre, under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Viet Nam National Academy of Music (VNAM), the Embassy of Russia in Viet Nam and the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Ha Noi.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism said, the group will perform at the Hanoi Opera House on October 5 and at the VNAM and Ho Chi Minh Opera House on October 6.

Founded in 1948 by the world-renowned ballet dancer of the 20th century Nadezhda Nadeshdina, the ensemble has travelled to more than 80 countries.

The event will be part of the Russian Cultural Days in Viet Nam in 2017.
