Mr. Phan said he hopes the two sides will enhance cooperation, especially supporting investment to develop new technology in press activities, as well as promote traditional cultural values of the two countries and capitals.

He announced that press agencies in Ha Noi have cooperative relations with various Korean counterparts, adding the association has more than 1,000 members working in 18 press agencies.

In addition, he called on the two sides to join hands to address challenges that the press is facing, given the strong development of social networks.

In turn, Chairman of Asia Today Woo Jong Soon said the Korean press agency will soon open a representative office in Ha Noi and hopes the city will support the group’s activities.

Mr. Soon added that the image of Viet Nam has been brought closer to Korean people, and Asia Today will work harder to contribute to friendly relations between two countries.
