At a working session with Chairman of Ha Noi People’s Committee Nguyen The Thao on July 22, Ambassadress of Republic of Armenia to Viet Nam Raisa Vardanya expressed her hope that Yerevan and Ha Noi Capital City will boost multi-faceted cooperation and regular exchange visits between leaders of the two cities

She expressed her pleasure at the strong development of Ha Noi and conveyed the invitation of the city mayor of Yerevan, Capital of Armenia Republic of the Ha Noi People’s Committee presidents to visit Armenia to strengthen cooperation between the two capitals in the fields of management and urban development, energy, environment, transport, trade, tourism, culture and sports.

Ambassador proposal, the two parties shall establish cooperation committee, including two city representatives, and will do our best confirmed to promote the relationship between the two countries as well as the capital of Armenia and Viet Nam, commensurating with good traditional friendship.

For his part, Chairman of Ha Noi People’s Committee Nguyen The Thao welcomed the Republic of Armenia to open embassy in Viet Nam

He highlighted the time-honored relationship between the two nations. He agreed with Vardanya’s proposal for the cooperation committee, it will open up new opportunities for both sides to strongly develop their relations.

Ha Noi wishes to attract investment and boost collaboration with Armenia in culture, education and training, tourism, trade and hi-technology, he said.

Reviewing the traditional relationship of the two countries, City Chairman affirmed Viet Nam always attaches importance to relations with traditional friendly countries, including Armenia, always remember and be grateful for valuable support of the Armenian people to Viet Nam in the struggle for national liberation in the past as well as building and protecting the country at present.

He expressed that Armenia will create favorable conditions for Vietnamese export to access easier to its market in the near future.
