Primary and kindergarten pupils back to school after three-month break

VGP – Nearly 1,900 primary and kindergarten schools have returned to school on May 11 after a three-month break due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Many pupils have shown their eagerness to head back to school. With education centers recommencing, establishments are now following guidelines set out by the Ministry of Health, such as wearing face masks, checking body temperature, and thoroughly washing hands.

As of late May 10, investigation teams of the Ha Noi Education and Training Department reviewed teaching plans to safeguard learners and ensure progress of the school year which will finish before July 15, 2020. 

Body temperature check must be compulsory for pupils

The national flag saluting ceremony in the playground is part of the routine for schools each Monday, it’s now taking place inside the classroom to avoid mass gatherings.

Earlier, all toys and teaching tools must be disinfected before children are allowed to go back to school./.
