Poland supports Ha Noi in monument restoration

At the reception, Grzegorz Napieralski thanked the host for the warm welcome and said he was impressed by the huge development of Ha Noi Capital.

Talking about areas where Ha Noi and Warsaw could cooperate in the future, Grzegorz Napieralski emphasized that transportation and waste treatment are the major issues that a city has to deal with in its smart city development course.

He added relics restoration has been the field of effective cooperation between that Viet Nam and Poland. 

On future cooperation, Grzegorz Napieralski asserted that Poland is willing to assist Viet Nam in developing green public transport vehicles.

In turn, Vice Chairman of the Ha Noi People's Committee Nguyen Van Suu said that Ha Noi is actively promoting smart city development towards making the capital one of the most livable cities in the world.

One of the goals Ha Noi’s leaders are aiming at is to step by step phasing out over 6 million motorbikes in the future, by encouraging people to using public transport, Suu added. 
On the basis of friendly relations between Viet Nam and Poland, the Ha Noi deputy mayor wished that the two sides would continue to strengthen exchanges and support each other.
