Over 64 flower markets welcome Lunar New Year Festival

The markets will operate from January 15 (the tenth day of the 12th month of 2018 lunar calendar) to 8:00pm on February 4 (the 30th day of the 12th month of 2018 lunar calendar).

Accordingly, ornamental plants, flower and fruit trees, handicraft products, and products for the Lunar New Year will be on display. 

The markets must be organized in locations which get permissions from the Ha Noi People’s Committee and meet requirements of security, transport safety, fire prevention, environmental sanitation, land lease, and vehicle parking.

The Ha Noi People’s Committee tasks the Department of Industry and Trade to announce the list of flower markets. 

The Pubic Security force was assigned to regulate transport circulation; ensure security order; prevent fire and traffic congestions.

The Departments of Construction, Natural Resources andEnvironment will work with the People's Committees of districts and towns to ensure street lighting and waste collection in the spring flower markets./.
