Over 34,500 people vaccinated in fourth phase

Mr. Chu made the announcement on July 6 at a meeting of the Steering Committee on COVID-19 Prevention and Control. 

The local authorities of Ha Noi asked residents to refrain from going out for non-urgent and non-essential reasons and continue to follow Covid-19 safety protocols.

Besides, residents who return to the city from other localities must make health declarations.

Deputy Director of the Ha Noi Health Department Tran Van Chung reported that the city reported two new clusters with ten community cases on July 5 including four cases in Dong Anh district, five others in My Duc district, and one in Hoang Mai district. 

Since April 29, 142 locally-transmitted cases were detected in 20 districts.

Over the past week, five areas with 2,300 residents have been put into lockdown. Since the fourth wave of COVID-19 resurgence, 113 avenues were isolated. 

Since April 29, 215,947 PCR-Realtime tests were conducted. 

As of June 16, random tests were implemented especially on returnees from HCMC to Ha Noi. 

Twenty quarantine camps offering  11,611 slots were prepared for people who have contacts with COVID-19 (known as F1) in 19 districts. 

The city has prepared to set up 32 quarantine camps with 40,000 slots./.
