Over 33,000 hectares for transport development
VGP – The local authorities of Ha Noi will put aside around 33,237 hectares of land for transport purpose.

The PM has recently passed the master plan on Ha Noi’s transport by 2030 with a vision towards 2050.
Accordingly, around 15,989 hectares will be given for road transport. Railway transport will get about 2,539 hectares. The areas for river ports and airports are 395 hectares and 1,731 hectares, respectively.
The new master plan prioritizes new projects which target to create a driving force for transport development in the capital.
It also plans to upgrade the traffic signal control system; manage traffic demands; improve transport safety equipment, better parking system; enhance the capacity of bus system; and renovate educational program on transport safety.
An intelligent transport system will be installed./.
