The city targets to raise the rate of helmet wearing to 80% by 2020. All 100% of pupils who get helmets will wear them while participating in traffic.

The plan aims to raise public awareness; sense of obedience on obliged regulations on standardized helmet wearing when taking part in traffic by motorbikes and electric bicycles in order to mitigate traffic accidents among the group of children.

In the new academic year (2019-2020), Honda Viet Nam will present over 176,000 helmets for all grade-one learners in Ha Noi.
