VGP – The Ha Noi Department of Culture and Sports has announced 10 outstanding cultural and sports events of the capital in 2020 pursuant to the results of a poll conducted among managers, cultural experts, representatives of media agencies, and local people.

VGP – The local tourism sector has crafted three development scenarios with a view to receiving 10.96-15.34 million visitors and 2.2-3.7 million foreign arrivals. 

VGP - Banners, flowers and flags can be seen everywhere in Ha Noi on the threshold of the 13th National Party Congress which will take place in the Capital from January 25, 2021 to February 2, 2021.

VGP - Russian authorities have recently allowed the re-opening of flight routes between Moscow and Ha Noi, Helsinki (Finland), New Delhi (India), and Doha (Qatar) from January 27 as those locations meet epidemiological safety standards, according to  the Russian Centre for Covid-19 Prevention and Control.

VGP – Over the past years, private businesses in Ha Noi have been constantly growing and renovating themselves, contributing up to 40% of the city’s gross regional domestic product (GRDP) and providing employment for more than 50% of local workers.

VGP – Delegates who attend the 13th Party Congress will be tested twice for coronavirus from January 18-23, said Director of the Ha Noi Health Department Nguyen  Khac Hien.

VGP – Ha Noi will create favorable conditions to facilitate the construction progress of Samsung’s R&D Center in the city so that it will soon be put into operation, said Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Chu Ngoc Anh.

VGP – Ha Noi is seeking technical support from the World Bank (WB) for its socio-economic development, focusing on urban management, traffic congestion, and climate change, said Secretary of the Ha Noi Party Committee Vuong Dinh Hue.

VGP - Ha Noi will this year host many major sport events of the region, including the 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 31) and the ASEAN Para Games 11, according  to the Ha Noi Department of Tourism.

VGP – Ha Noi will build ten more bridges across the Hong (Red) River in accordance with its Transport Master Plan to 2030 with a vision towards 2050, which was approved by PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc.
