VGP – 2019 was the second consecutive year that Ha Noi led the country in terms of attracting foreign investment, especially foreign direct investment (FDI).

VGP – 2019 marked a number of important events across diverse areas organized in Ha Noi, including the 65th anniversary of the capital’s liberation, the 20thanniversary of Ha Noi’s recognition as “City for Peace”, and Ha Noi’s official admission to UNESCO’s Network of Creative Cities.

VGP - The Ha Noi Department of Tourism on January 1 coordinated with the Department of Foreign Affairs, Vietnam Airlines Corporation, and Noi BaiInternational Airport welcomed the first international tourist to Ha Noi in 2020.

VGP – The industrial production index (IPI) was estimated to saw a month-on-month increase of 3.7% and a year-on-year growth of 10.7%, the Ha Noi Department of Industry and Trade reported. 

VGP - The number of tourists to Ha Noi was estimated at nearly 29 million in 2019, a year-on-year rise of 10.1%. 

VGP – The consumer price index (CPI) saw a month-on-month increase of 1.23%,  with ten out of 11 groups of goods and services subject to calculation experiencing price hikes, the Ha Noi Statistics Office reported.
