VGP - Kim Liên Communal House (Kim Liên Temple or Cao Sơn Temple), one of the “four guardian temples” of ancient Thăng Long”, is located in Kim Liên Ward, Đống Đa District, Hà Nội.

VGP - Formerly, there were four important temples guarding the four entrances to Thăng Long in four directions. Among them, Voi Phục (Kneeling Elephant) Temple was the western “guardian temple” of ancient Thăng Long.

VGP - Bạch Mã (White Horse) Temple is located at number 76 Hàng Buồm Street, Hoàn Kiếm District, Hà Nội. From 200 B.C. to 939 A.D, Vietnam was dominated by Chinese feudalism and in 866, the Tang Dynasty mandarin, Cao Pian, ordered the Đại La Citadel (now known as Hà Nội) to be built bordered by the Red, Tô Lịch, and Kim Ngưu rivers.

VGP – More than 30 embassies and international organizations have announced their participation and activities to welcome the 1000th birthday anniversary of Thăng Long-Hà Nội, a senior official revealed on June 21.

VGP – A flower festival will take place at the Princess’ Place in the Thăng Long Citadel to mark the 1000th anniversary of Thăng Long–Hà Nội.
