New breeze” supports enterprises to develop production and business
VGP – In the face of the impacts of the second COVID-19 wave, Ha Noi has issued plans and policies to support businesses, especially small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which will be a source of encouragement and a “new breeze” assisting companies to develop their production and business activities.

Ha Noi’s recently-issued Plan No. 167/KH-UBND on support to local SMEs provides the clearest evidence that Ha Noi always stands by enterprises, especially SMEs.
Vice Chairman and General Secretary of the Ha Noi SME Association Mac Quoc Anh said that the plan consists of many contents aimed at promoting the growth of SMEs in terms of quality and efficiency; developing innovative and digital businesses; creating a solid foundation and an important driving force for the capital’s socio-economic development; building a favorable, equal and stable investment environment for SMEs to develop; and supporting SMEs to successfully participate in regional and global value chains.
The implementation of the plan will help to improve the quality and efficiency of SMEs, while enabling them to narrow the gap regarding technology levels, the quality of human resources and competitiveness. At the same time, it is expected to create 150,000 new jobs for workers.
Notably, Ha Noi will support funding for SMEs to connect with international businesses, participate in trade fairs, seminars and business connection conferences, and introduce technology products to seek business opportunities.
In addition, the capital has issued an action program to remove difficulties for production and business, promote disbursement of public investment and ensure social order and safety in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Particularly, the city has requested units to drastically accelerate the disbursement of public investment plans, considering this an important political task to stimulate production, business and consumption, create more jobs, and ensure social security.
It can be said that Ha Noi’s tasks and solutions to support businesses, including SMEs, are what businesses are in desperate need of in the current context.
In fact, the contents on supporting SMEs are seen as the breath of businesses and a “new breeze” that supports companies to develop their production and business activities, thus contributing to the city’s sustainable development goals./.
