VGP - Chairman of the Ha Noi People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung received Dutch Ambassador to Viet Nam Elsbeth Akkerman in Ha Noi on October 23, during which they discussed measures to enhance bilateral cooperation in various field, especially culture.

At the reception, Mr. Chung said Ha Noi is willing to cooperate with and support the Dutch embassy in organizing cultural programs in the city.
Chairman Chung said he has assigned the municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to cooperate in the programmes, and hoped for better cultural cooperation between the two sides.
He voiced his wishes that Ha Noi and the Netherlands will continue expanding collaboration in fields that hold training courses for officials of departments and districts in the circular economy so that they can meet the requirements on managing and socio-economic development of the capital in the future.
In turn, the Dutch diplomat thanked Ha Noi authorities for their timely and much-needed coordination with the Dutch embassy over the past.
She expressed her hope for the early licensing for the exhibition so that it can be held as scheduled.
Also at the session, the two both reach consensus that Ha Noi will send representatives to the jury of the contest on creative design city on Instagram to be held by the Dutch embassy next month in Ha Noi, as well as leading officials to the Floriade Amterdam – Almere 2020 exhibition in the Netherlands./.
