Nearly 70,000 visits first Ha Noi Food Culture Festival
VGP – The Ha N oi Food Culture Festival 2018, the first of its kind, has been held in Ha Noi.

The festival restaged cultural spaces of craft villages associated with outstanding Ha Noi food such as Pho, steamed roll rice pancakes, green rice flakes, and pork pies.
The Director of the municipal Department of Culture and Sports said 81 local dishes were made available at the event, which was expected to contribute to promoting HaNoi’s intangible cultural heritage and preserving cultural values.
During the event, visitors watched how the dishes were made and what types of traditional cooking tools were used during these processes.
Beside the space for exhibition, an area for displaying and introducing products ensured food hygiene and safety to help visitors enjoy the dishes and better understand the value of the Hanoian cuisine through artisans and researchers’ presentations of typical Hanoian dishes.
The event had served close to 70,000 visitors during its 4-day course at Thong Nhat Park from October 11 to 14./.
