Nearly 2,700 trade frauds brought to light

VGP – As of late October, 2,682 trade frauds and eight crimes were detected and punished, the National Steering Committee 389.
The Committee discovered 146 cases of illegal trading and counterfeiting, 90 others of intellectual property right violation, and 2,446 others of trade frauds. Total administrative fines valued VND 526.7 billion.
The local police force cracked down on illegal trade hubs, smuggling groups, and food safety violation.
In the rest of 2018, the city will continue to combat illegal trade frauds and counterfeiting especially in pharmacy, cosmetics, functional food, medicines, and traditional medicines.
The city will enforce Telegraph 1194/CD-TTg of the PM focusing on implementing measures to prevent the contamination of African swine fever into Viet Nam./.
