Mayor receives U.S. Ambassador to Viet Nam

VGP – Ha Noi seeks further US investment in the city’s priority fields of transportation, healthcare, energy and smart city, said Chairman of the Ha Noi People's Committee Chu Ngoc Anh and U.S. Ambassador to Viet Nam Daniel Kritenbrink.

Chairman of the Ha Noi People’s Committee Chu Ngoc Anh said the strong relations between Ha Noi and U.S. cities are contributing to overall bilateral relationship.

He also called for more investment from U.S. enterprises in priority fields of transportation, healthcare, energy and smart city.

The Chairman said that Ha Noi would boost its relations with the U.S. to better realize development potentials between the two sides. 

He said that the city welcomes U.S. Peace program and U.S. families in adopting Vietnamese children, saying that the city is fully committed to addressing any problem hampering these programs.

Anh also noted Hanoi would create favorable conditions for the construction of new headquarter for U.S. Embassy as soon as possible.

The U.S. is committed to becoming a close partner with Viet Nam and will try its best to support Ha Noi’s development./.
