The move aims to suppress COVID-19 transmission in Ha Noi as the city  recorded the highest number of COVID-19 cases in Viet Nam.

Accordingly, the Director of the Health Department, the Director of the Ha Noi Center for Disease Control, and Chairpersons of districts and communes were asked to direct their inferiors to conduct the tests at grass-root levels

Earlier, Deputy Director of the Ha Noi Center for Disease Control Khong Minh Tuan reported that on April 4, mobile testing stations conducted 1,782 tests.

If a positive case is discovered, the patient will be immediately taken to a nearby built-up room to undergo a RT-PCR test. His/her sample will then be sent to a fixed testing facility in order to verify the result.

Since March 31, hundreds of citizens living in Ha Noi had their samples taken for the novel coronavirus tests at ten quick COVID-19 testing stations close to Bach Mai Hospital.

As of April 2, Ha Noi is the locality with the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 99. Those include 57 domestic transmission cases, of which 38 are workers of Truong Sinh Company which provides catering and logistics services for Bach Mai Hospital./.
