Market stabilization program issued

These are parts of the 2019 market stabilization program of essential commodities which was recently issued by the Ha Noi municipal People’s Committee. 

The program targets to ensure the balance of goods supply and demand; stabilize the market; ensure social security in the stormy  season, during festivals, year end, and lunar New Year festival. 

The local authorities task production and business units to invest in breeding; renovate technology; develop distribution channel; reserve goods to stabilize the market. 

Businesses were asked to develop fixed sales networks at markets, resident areas, schools, and hospitals and build promotion programs. 

The Committee also requested that commodities which are subjected to price stabilization program must meet criteria of quality, food hygiene, and origins and protect customers’ rights in case of price hikes./.
