Leader pay pre-Tet visits to Ha Noi Archdiocese leader

At the reception, Secretary of the Ha Noi Party Committee Hoang Trung Hai conveyed his best New Year wishes to the Catholic community in the Ha Noi Archdiocese.

He briefed the guest on the major socio-economic achievements of the city in 2017, as well as its development directions in 2018.

He recognized the contributions made by the Ha Noi Archdiocese and the Catholic community to the growth of the city in all fields, especially education, health care and the environment.

He affirmed that religious and belief activities are the right of everyone, pledging that the city will continue supporting them and create optimal conditions for their activities.

Politburo member Hai also expressed his belief that Cardinal Nguyen Van Nhon and the Catholic community in the city would continue to promote their tradition of solidarity, thereby contributing to reinforcing the great national unity bloc and building a capital city of peace and prosperity.

On the occasion of the upcoming Tet festival, Mr. Hai wished the two celebrities and their families good health, asking them to continue using their intellect and creativity to contribute to the cause of national construction and development.

In turn, Cardinal Nguyen Van Nhon, Archbishop of the Ha Noi Archdiocese, wished Politburo member Hai and the committee a successful year with good health and all tasks being fulfilled.
